ORIGINS: Manu - the first man
Ages ago at the beginning of
time, Lord Vishnu was in deep slumber dreaming of creating the universe. From
Vishnu’s naval took birth Lord Bramha, seated on a lotus to fulfill dream of creation.
He began the colossal process of creating the universe, in the process he
created ten divine sons.
Marich was the eldest son of
Brahma. He had power over all creatures. He had seven wives, to one of his wife
was born my grandfather Kashyap. To Kashyap’s wife was born my father the ever luminous
and glorious Surya, the sun god and I was born on earth as his son, reason for existence of mankind ‘MANU’-the first man.
